This Privacy Policy explains how Airde Digital (“we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses, stores, and protects your information when you use the Airde Chat mobile application (the “App”). Airde Chat is an internal team-communication app for authorised users and staff of organisations that use Airde ERP. It is not intended for children and is available only to users who have been granted access by their organisation.
By creating an account and using the App you agree to this Policy.
1. Information We Collect
Information you provide
- Account information: your name and mobile phone number, used to create and authenticate your account.
- Profile photo (display picture): optional; if you upload one it is stored on our servers and shown to other users you communicate with.
- Messages and attachments: the chat messages, images, videos, voice notes, documents and location messages you send are stored so they can be delivered and shown in your conversations.
Information collected automatically
- Device push token: a Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) token so we can deliver chat and call notifications to your device.
- Session / device identifier: a per-device identifier and session id used to keep your account signed in on a single device and to protect your account.
- Last-seen / presence: a timestamp of your recent activity, shown as online / last-seen to people you chat with.
Camera and microphone
- Microphone is used only during audio or video calls that you start or answer.
- Camera is used only for video calls and when you choose to take a photo for your profile picture or a chat attachment.
- Calls are transmitted in real time and are not recorded or stored by the App.
Location (optional)
- The App accesses your location only if you explicitly turn on the “Go Live” feature. When enabled, your approximate/precise location is shared, while the App is open, with your organisation’s administrator for support and verification. You can switch to “Ghost Mode” or turn it off at any time.
- The App does not collect location in the background or when it is closed.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To create and secure your account and keep you signed in.
- To deliver your messages, attachments and call invitations to the correct recipients.
- To send push notifications for new messages and incoming calls.
- To show your name, profile photo and online/last-seen status to people you communicate with.
- To enable audio and video calls between users.
- To provide the optional live-location feature when you enable it.
- To operate, maintain, secure and troubleshoot the service.
3. How Information Is Shared
We do not sell your personal data or use it for advertising. Information is shared only as needed to run the service:

We may also disclose information if required by law, or to protect the rights, safety and security of our users and service.
4. Data Storage & Security
- Your data is stored on secure servers operated for Airde Digital.
- All communication between the App and our servers is encrypted in transit (HTTPS / secure WebSocket).
- Access to the App requires account authentication, and each account is limited to a single active device at a time.
5. Data Retention
We retain your account information, messages and uploaded media for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service. When you or your organisation delete your account, your associated personal data is deleted or anonymised, except where we must retain it to comply with legal obligations.
6. Your Rights & Data Deletion
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data and account. To do so, contact us at support@airdedigital.com from your registered contact, or ask your organisation’s administrator. We will action verified requests within a reasonable time.
7. Children’s Privacy
Airde Chat is an internal business tool and is not directed to children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, notifying users within the App.
